Hello. I have a Humax HDR-FOX T2 which is boot cycling, it started as an intermittent problem but is now permanent. (i.e Start System - Custom Firmware - system start etc). I removed HDD and reinstalled official firmware, which works fine, I unstalled the custom firmware 3.13 and it is working fine. I assume then it is a HDD failure.

I tried it on HDR Fox T2 from HDR_FOX_T2_1.03.12_mod_3.13 to Humax standard 1.03.13. It had Custom FW on it. 'Updated' to 1.03.13 - it updates ok, but on restart fails to see the hard drive - offering to reinitialise it. I ignore the options to initialise/format the hard drive, and just see if the channel switching are ok.

A simple tool to download files from a Humax HDR-FOX T2. A few years ago, my husband and I bought a Humax HDR FOX T2 PVR. Its a very nice device, but its only got a 1TB hard disk. Since format shifting is legal in the UK (I think, I’m not an expert). I wrote some software to make it easier to copy videos off the PVR.
Sounds like this is similar to what I have in mind. I have a Humax Foxsat-HDR, with Raydon's firmware v4.1.2 installed (fantastic, thanks Raydon!) I want to put a new 1tb drive into the pvr, and the original 500gb, now 97% full, into an external SATA hd housing to playback existing recordings. I am thinking that one of WDs Black or Blue range
Feb 12, 2021. #1. My T2 runs cfw 3.13. Yesterday I bought a new TV, Panasonic TX-40HX800B, to replace a 15-year-old Panasonic. The system also includes a fairly recent Panasonic DVD player. So far I have been unable to get any audio when the T2 is playing. It still works with the old TV, so not aa intrinsic problem with the T2.
