There are some basic activities like customizing cars, buying clothes, guns (and robbing the stores afterwards), you can also visit bars, and few other things like collectibles. So no, nobody is buying these games because of OW, but because of atmosphere, story, and gameplay, but M2 has still probably the most advanced OW in any game in the
I played Mafia 2 a lot back in the days, doing free roams and modded the game, and honestly the only thing the game needed was an upgrade from D3DX9 to D3DX11, a proper Anti-Aliasing support and that's it, Definitive Edition while improved the textures, it also ruined the atmosphere and lightning, the colors look overly saturated compared to
I played all Mafia games last year, and I only really enjoyed the first Mafia (Definitive Edition), but actually really, really enjoyed. Simple gameplay, but great story worth the playthrough. Each one went down hill from there and honestly couldn't get into them like the first. Edit: Just saw, Snag the 1st one on the Feb PS+ freebies!
Mafia 1. In no particular order (all in classic mode of course, and on PC): - better get used to it (ok, I guess only because it was the first real firefight of the game + before knowing that you can shoot the electricity pole) - race mission (I actually found it harder than the original in the original all you needed to do is break before
That arm looks fugly as fuck. Who the hell drew and animated that? It doesn’t even look like a poofy jacket. The stretching of the mode is hella obvious and his ear looks half there?
And when I hear that there was a mafia game I imminently bought the trilogy pack and expected an amazing ride for the game but it wasn't what had intended as the game didn't feel all that exciting and was a copy and paste of the original so these are my reasons of why Mafia Definitive edition underwhelmed me. 1: The characters.

Is it me or does getting rid of the original hazey look make it look less like old cinema (like the original) for my it looks different not necessarily better. But I’m going to reserve judgement until the full resolution reveal
DE only gives you the 3 DLCs for Mafia3 for free. That's it. Doesn't matter which version of the game you play. The glitches and bugs and such are not fixable. It's how the game is unfortunately. DE Literally changes nothing other than giving players all dlcs, sorry for the issues your having but thats mafia 3.
Just as Mafia 2's riveting story was let down by an uninspired game around it in 2010, it's once again let down by a lazy remaster in 2020.SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE
Mafia 3 is a huge joke to me. Well, after a long time I decided that I will buy PS5, one of the first game I decided to buy was Mafia Definitive Edition, I was so excited and I thought it is going to be amazing to have that flashbacks from my childhood. Jesus christ, it is not about silly stuff like they used different voice actors or they
Mafia 3 is a much bigger game than Mafia1. However a lot of it is due to repetitive side activities and the turf war mechanics of the game. You can only advance the story if you keep conquering all the turfs in Mafia 3. Mafia Definitive edition is by far, a better game. And it has some fully stealth missions too.
Well, I'm just remembering something that is actually a huge downside. If they implement 60 FPS for Mafia Definitive Edition, it will probably run as the downgraded Xbox One version, without One X optimizations. This is how FPS Boost works for Battlefield 1 and V, as an example. For most games, it's just a quick workaround.
Just finished Mafia: Definitive Edition after deciding to try the series out and holy shit man the ending. Mafia: DE Never played the mafia games before except for three but I heard that it wasn’t near as good as the first two so I decided to just try the first one to see if I liked and I finished it two damn days.
He started with the first game (definitive edition) from Steam. The game runs very very poorly Now I understand that the game was remade to current standards in graphics and all that, but the game is incredibly laggy, even in the main menu. "I move the mouse and the cursor only starts moving half a second later or so" laggy. Unplayable.
I know mafia II definitive addition is just a HD version of the original ps3 version, my big worry is how dose Mafia III definitive addition preform on ps4 in 2022, is it still super buggy dose it crash or has it been patched and preforms well. Anyone who’s played ether game on base ps4 would love to know how the experience was.
For Mafia 2 Classic there is a trainer that is called M2EXT, it contains the options you wrote about. M2EXT as well as the entire M2 Classic runs on Directx 9, however Mafia 2 Definitive Edition runs on Directx 11 - so a simple conversion is not possible. I have the source code of M2EXT (I got it from the original author yusik).
I gotta say I'm a ps4 player, didn't have that glitch thank God, but wouldnt matter what you play it on except for pc I guess, the definitive edition is a struggle to play but still worth it for the nostalgia.
Smooth gameplay is IMO more important. All of definitive editions on pc have frametime issues, if that doesnt bother you, get them on pc, as they are probably cheaper than on ps5. PC versions with your GTX 1070 for better performance. Also, yes - going w/ PC, you can have choices here w/ Mafia 2 Classic and Definitive, as you have both versions
